SeamedUP -- It has finally happened!!

Ever since Ravelry was established, I have been hoping for an equivalent site for sewing and quilting. It's been a few years, but someone has finally done it! Hallelujah!

SeamedUp is to sewing & quilting as Ravelry is to knitting. I'm so happy right now and I've already got myself signed up for my free account. I'll be able to keep track of all of my fabrics & patterns. I needed an excuse to inventory everything anyway. I'll be able to keep track of any unfinished or completed projects I have. I know it will be a source of inspiration because you can see what other's have been up to, find fabrics and patterns you never knew existed. It's gonna be great! If you love to sew, quilt--or maybe you just love fabric, this is going to be a great place for you. It's FREE to join, so I hope you go check it out and pass it along to all your sewing friends. Let's help this wonderful new venture grow and flourish!

  1. I've always wanted to start quilting and will one day as I already have my first pattern and fabric. I enjoyed having a look around your blog. I'm now following your blog :)

Thanks for the comment left on my blog as part of the The Scrapbook Kitchen NSD blog hop. It is much appreciated and I will be drawing the winner later today along with a pic of what they have.

If you were looking for the follow me button (it seemed to have disappeared) I have re-added it so those that want to can keep up with what I am up to. I'm not a post every day person, but I do post regularly.

Thanks again for visiting my blog xxx

  2. Thanks so much for letting me know this existed! I'm a Ravelry member and love all of the inspiration and patterns available there. I'm only a small, part time knitter but I am a full time (as often as I can get the time) quilter, so this will be a fun site to dive into. I'm off to check it out and sign up, thanks again!

  8. Ravelry is such a joy-- how exciting for a similar site to exist for sewing! I think it will be a great resource for finding inspiration, which has always been what I've loved about Rav (well, that plus for being an outlet for my need to catalogue everything in existence...). Thank you for telling us about SeamedUP!
